Texas Department Of Agriculture - Marketing Internship

I have been interning at the Texas Department of Agriculture in Austin, Texas since June 7th. Being a marketing intern, I have had the opportunity to work with the Go TEXAN program as well as working with different commodity boards across Texas.

A couple of my duties for Go TEXAN include, product photography, signage editing printing and mounting, and research of associate partners.

My other duties for the commodity boards include, preparation for annual elections for Texas Boll Weevil Eradication Foundation, update & administrate Texas Prescribed Burning Board program for all certified and insured prescribed burn managers (CIPBM) and lead burn instructors, represent the TDA at board meetings and update/edit the CIPBM application form.
